No - not a Bongo, but quite cute eh :D :D

Makes me wonder what a powder blue/white pg Bongo would look like though.

The only EBMM content (not visible) is my Musicman polo shirt being worn at the time.

Saw PLENTY of Isettas when me and my grilfriend where driving around eastern Europe on our motorbikes this summer. Cute cars.

This one in Pearl Blue! Saw a restaurant by the name of "Big Poppa" in Romania located just south of the Transfagarasan highway near Vlad Tepes old castle. Sterling and Dracula. Hm..... Couldn´t get my camera out when driving. Hate it when that happens. Would have loved to eat there but it was early in the morning so it was closed. Also saw a laundry service and a hotel with the same name also in Romania. Wonder if Sterling has relatives in Transylvania....

This is me in ****ing, Austria:

Please notice that I wear a Erne Ball tee under my biker jacket. The towns name is really pronounced "Fooking" but the spelling is as on the sign. Tried to send a post card to Sterling when I was there but there were no ****ing post office.

Sincerely//Jan

P.S. I promise never to post anything not related to EB again. D.S. ;)

Ha ha ha! I started to shave my head at summertime first time in 1983. Than I had long hair during almost 15 years some time after that. I looked like a hippie.

I went to this barber in Kosovo about a week before that pic was taken. He shaved my head and face with a barber knife! I´ve never been so scared in my life! I tend to shave my head more often these days since my hair is starting to fall off. Just don´t like the look of it. So I keep it short and shave about every 3 - 4 month. Nice in the summer. Not so nice in the winter. Freezing my head off. I´d probably still have long hair if it hadn´t started to fall off. It´s part of getting old(er) I guess.

Isetta FTW! :D

Indeed - and the closest drMrsStingray allowed me to get to anything else in powder blue during recent holiday - it was at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu - listed as a BMW Isetta - regrettably EBMM dealer visits were not possible during said holiday

Nice pearl blue one Hellboy - and there is definitely a certain resemblance to Mr Levin. Did you buy your Inca Silver Ray new?

Nope. Bought it when it was about 6 or 7 years old. Got stolen later. I was only 10 yo in 1976.... A wee boy. ;)

Would love to have a maple fretboard Classic Inca Silver Stingray. With matching headstock. THE ultimate Hellboy bass! :)

That's a shame about the Ray.

I too would like one - when I bought my SR5, I was also looking amongst other basses at a mint 77 Inca Silver (which had been owned by Colin Greenwood - Radiohead) at the Bass Centre - the other was a red Cutlass 1 - I have kicked myself in the last few years I didn't buy the Inca Silver - basically because at the time I wanted a new bass and a 5 string!

BMW? That's a european thing?

Well European based...........involved with the design of a great US bass though.

I'd forgotten they'd also been involved with the Isetta bubble car back in the 50s - not quite the market positioning they now enjoy - but something of a classic cult car in parts of Europe.

If you mention this, there is a little story to that town. A german brewery just got the permission from cort to brew a new beer there which will be available sometime in september. It will be a lager beer. The german word for lager, at least in bavaria, austria and switzerland is "Hell".

Guess what that be will be named....

right, F*cking Hell!!!

I will get some asap....:D

"Hell" is german or latin for "light" or "bright". A lager is not dark in color like a ale or a stout. It´s light in color.

I might pass ****ing again within a few weeks on a bike trip to Bulgaria. Will have to stop by and drink a ****ing ****in Hell ****ing lager in bloody ****ing ****ing, Austria.

Sorry for such a bad language. I blame my GPS navigator.....
