Very nice axe.

Looking forward to more pics, and tales of pickup changes.

Classy look to that guitar.

All RIGHT! How long do you have to wait? I'd love to get a full review on that when you get it.

Just got the Afwayu and got it installed about 10 minutes ago. So far my first impression is WOW!

My strings aren't even stretched out all the way yet, so I'll have a more complete opinion formed in the coming hours and days but so far just installing it and plugging in without adjusting the height or polepiece screws I am extremely happy.

As an added bonus, my SS finally has a zebra pickup in it (only been wanting to switch from black for round about 8 years now, but kept finding deals on black humbuckers haha)

Older thread, but I did a search on the Silo30. I sold my Morse to a forum member. I just couldn't make it "mine" no matter what I did. I loved the guitar for its quality; but the idiosyncrasies of it finally got the better of me.

Anyway, as far as a replacement, I would love to stay with EBMM. I do not have the funds for an EBMM replacement; so I thought I would investigate a Sterling model. aside from a traditional Telecaster config, I have always liked guitars with an HSS pickup config. The Silo30 seems like a great choice.

I might even try to find a tortoise pickguard to put on it. How about the stock pickups? Can someone give me thoughts on the stock pickups?
