My Music Man serial number

Hi -

I'm new here and would like some info please. I have/had a lovely Music Man Stingray 4 string 3 eq bass, serial number 46015 (number found on bridge) I tour alot and have had my bass returned with the body very badly smashed (after being lost by an airline initially) I have to go to the airline to asses the damage (the bass can no longer be used) and I need to know which year it is from and then hopefully the value thereafter, to then take this info to find a suitable replacement. If anyone could help me with this information, it would be very much appreciated, thanks alot.

DOB: 3/13/08 The unfinished headstock is standard, the option to have it painted to match the body is available for a small upcharge when ordering.

Unfortunately this one does not come up in our database. It looks like that serial number would be around 1996 though. You can check out this site for more info:

Hi thanks for looking. if not on your list what could be the possable reasons for this please as it is clearly a MM bridge ?, i belive some where made in japan ?Ex series ? would you know the SR numbers of these, and could this be one ??

No official records exist for Pre-EB instruments but I have it noted on my listings as c.1982 with a natural finish.
