What color are you looking for? That is what is holding you up?

Are you lacking in faith?

Order one and be done with it!
Let me rephrase my previous comment so we don't have any mis-understandings.

The Big Al is a very different instrument from other EBMM's and just because you like other basses in the line, it's not a foregone conclusion that you're going to love the Big Al the same way. It feels different, it hangs different, and it sounds different.

I ordered one in the SSS configuration and despite my best intentions to the contrary, and it was not my cup of tea. It may or may not be yours but it's definitely not a "Slam dunk like" for a Bongoloid and you need to keep that advice in mind before you plunk down your hard-earned $$ for one.

I respect your opnion and didn't mean it to seem that I did not. I was just saying there are two sides to that particular coin.

Partly. White, another white, black, another black, silver… the current selection is a bit on the bland side IMO. On the other hand, I could stick with the proven good looks of my Bongo 5H and go Candy Red/white pearl.

The current plan is to ask Mrs. BentKnob for one for my 25th wedding anniversary gift. Said anniversary is not until next May. Therefore I have time.

I want to see what NAMM brings in the way of colors and perhaps other stuff. I think it's a safe bet that the Gamechanger will surface, and there is the possibility that it will be an option… though it's more likely that it will be housed in an all-new instrument that we haven't seen yet.

I would take any color as long as it is used. Even black like all my others. :D
