Holy smokes...

Yes, I know, it's black, but I happen to like the Bongo in black...

It arrived about an hour ago.

The Sterling I sold to afford it was great, but this? Oh man. I'm glad I prefer 5's, 'cause that's what made me get a Bongo.

It sounds fantastic, it looks great, it's an EBMM, it's a 5-string. All of my favorite things in one bass.

My Dingwall is a fantastic bass, and it's not going anywhere, but there's gonna be some serious competition now! And that's up against a boutique, fantasticly made $2800 bass. That speaks for itself.

Well they got a face of Bongo last night, they're going to get a double-portion tonight as well (two gigs next week so extra rehearsals)...

Strangely none of them said "oh that's a weird guitar", I'm most disappointed
