Actually I sold that pickguard to Strummer in Sweden but forgot to remove the bass from it.

From the story: Everyone except Sterling Ball ("That's the ugliest finish we've ever done") agreed that Heinz was exceptional, and I think even Sterling has a soft spot in his heart for the bass (I could be wrong).
Really, Sterling did say that about the finish on the phone one night with me and Dargin. But he sort of likes to yank my chain, too. Except I think he was serious. Although he was laughing.
But it was kind of that evil scientist laugh.

Then - I sold it to Magnus.

Wait, I got it. You traded me the Blue Bomber for Heinz. And then I sold the Blue Bomber to Magnus, but never actually took posession of it because you shipped it to him.

I thought it was Chris who sold Heinz to Magnus, and had Jack ship him to me to courier to Amsterdam to ship to Magnus.

Nope, I had Heinz.....I think....sold him to Magnus. Shipped him to you. You went to Europe. Rex got the Blue Bomber. Chris wanted to buy Heinz but was too late. I think. I could be wrong.
