i get waaay less crap for pulling heinz out of the bag than bongo or big al , at sessions.

I can relate. The other week when I mentioned I'd brought 3 basses with me to the farmhouse for a 3 day album session, the engineer asked me "is one of them a P bass?"

I used the P bass for the first couple of songs and then pulled out the Big Al. Fortunately the engineer was a cool dude and really dug the Big Al once he heard it.

Yes, you me and Anthony Jackson...who would hear from his friends what producers would say "Tell Anthony to leave his 6 String science experiment at home"...

Glad he didn't listen..Maybe if it was Pickle Green...
