Hello everyone,
I just moved to CO from PA and was wondering if anyone in the Denver area knew any good luthiers. I have a terrible eye (literally) for setup and would rather trust it to a professional. Thanks.

Welcome to Colorado! I have done all my own adjustments so I haven't used a local luthier. I've used a guy down Colorado Springs for my acoustics but that's a long way from where you are. There are enough other local MM bassists that I'm sure someone will give you a local contact. PM me if you can't find someone.

Lawrence Gerk who lives in Greeley, not too far from you is the best at setups. PM me and I will put you in touch. Stay away from a know it all named Tenorio, off of broadway and 2nd. He did a hack job on my sub 5 fretless.

Thank you! I don't know if you mean killer weather literally as in the fire advisory; but otherwise, the weather here reminds me a lot of PA but just drier.

Welcome to the State. I am a transplant from San Diego but my wife is from here in Sterling, where we live.

I did a dealer search in Colorado for Music Man dealers because one came to mind that I could not remember the name. I found it on the dealer search. I don't know if they do set ups or not but I have heard a lot of really good things about this dealer. I did speak to them once about buying a Big Al and they seemed very friendly too.
