Never say never. They may one day offer that option again, then again they may not.

But you did just miss out on their recent offering of roasted maple necks. If you're interested in those, maybe a few dealers placed extra orders. Keep your eyes peeled for them! They're beautiful!

cheers, yeah i saw them, just love the feel of all rosewood (not painted etc) I've been looking for while and all there is out there are nice pictures of ones that have been bought :)

Just if anyone is looking, there is a BFR Rosewood neck Sterling 5HS in the used section of Guitar Centers website. Looks like Black cherry burst but not 100% sure. JOSH

I would love to see a rosewood bodied Stingray, my only none MM bass has a rosewood body courtesy of a washington guitar bits firm, even put a rosewood thumb rest on it, it looks freaking awesome and has a nice weight even with a chambered body, I like them heavy. it's only downfall is it's not a Stingray (which is a pretty huge downside to me) but it's my fretless so I don't break it out as often anyway.

There was a one off all rosewood Stingray on the Shopatron site for awhile. Alas someone picked it up..... AND didn't post more pictures!

Is it possible to purchase an all rosewood neck for my SR5? I would love to buy one and get my current neck defretted.

Thanks guys for your advice, have contacted Billy Imperial regarding r/w necks and the are only running them on the Albert Lee HH :(

Great link to the Stingray HH Ice Blue Metallic :D bet that plays itself!!!!! looking at import cost etc (live in uk) Cheers :)
