So, I've been having some major GAS for another 5er and had the potential for a trade to be done involving my 94 SR 5H for a well renowned "custom" bass that is up for sale for what is a pretty good price down this part of the world.
So I go and play this bass, and then the owner plays his bass, and then the owner plays my SR5. After wanting so hard for one of these basses, I am going to have to pass and keep the Stingray!
This beast has the nicest neck I've ever played - period. Sounds amazing - even with its non stock pre that the previous owner put in (WHY OH WHY?!?!) and looks very special! Natural, black pg and maple neck with some very nice figuring.
It doesn't get a lot of playing time as my Bongo 5HH gets most of that, but I don't think I can let this beauty go.
