Thanks for the pics - not bad for a cell phone! Wish I could have gone - hopefully the timing will work for me next time around!

Thks for the info on the synth guys...

Perhaps Steve likes adding different sounds/equipment to keep Tommy on his toes by always changing the rig hahaha

Altho poor ol' no 1 keeps getting something nailed on and off but Steve don't seem to wanna let go of that... has to be like a second skin for him

Glad everyone had a good time including the band makes for a wonderful night

Cheers

One more thing about the synth. I think Steve had control over the synth sounds by using a volume pedal to fade it in and out like he does with his effects. His way of doing that is very cool.

Another vid put on youtube HD too so worth seeing... Steve and Dave La Rue sparring between no1 and bongo

Same guy has another much shorter one too if you are interested enough to look for it.

Don't know why but I just love the guitar/drums/bass as a line up. Way back in the 70's when RB left Deep Purple he wanted to do a trio with Paice and Phil Lynott but it was not to be but something wonderful would have come out of it that's for sure.
I think SMB/Dregs is a better vehicle for Steve than DP is as not as restricted but I guess I know which one gets the kids through college & puts food on the table.
The DP venture I think good for MM too as bought much more exposure perhaps in places outside the uSA. I never heard of MM until saw Steve with DP back in 95 and straight away fell in love with the blueburst no 1
Cheers Baz
