what's the guitars natural tone like? i mean, how does it resonate without an amp?

Surprisingly well without the amp. More resonance than I would have thought.

I am thinking of getting the koa ones too. How do you like the necks compare to the unfinished necks. I really love the unfinished ones and have got a chance to try the finished necks.

I sold a JP and a Luke that had unfinished necks to get these Koas and the finished neck took me a couple of days to get used to. Had a slick feel to it, but after a couple of days it felt totally normal to me. These were the first guitars I had owned with finished necks and it was a different feel for sure.
