A big thanks to A.J. and the crew who took care of my candy apple classic Stingray 4. I sent it in less than 2 weeks ago, because the nut had broken when I was putting a new set of Group 4 flats on and I just got it back. I cannot tell it was ever repaired. Awesome job guys! Thanks so much. This is my favorite of my classics so the quick turn around was very much appreciated!

Shout out to the crew! I just dealt with the paperwork. They fixed it, packaged and shipped it with a swiftness! We've got a great team!

Speaking Of Replacement Nuts

Can you purchase replacement compensated nuts directly from EB via C.S.?

Just curious, as I am considering having the HG Thor Epoxy treatment done to my fretless and the info on the site has this to say:

"Nuts: In order to surface the epoxy properly, the nut must be removed. Often groove mounted nuts (Fender style) will not release without breaking, and is even more difficult on already fretless basses because the nut material in the groove is so thin. Years of aging glue, use of the wrong glue, and finish may refuse to allow it to release despite my gentle coaxing......... Any factory fretless nut that comes out whole can be reused with a shim under it to accommodate the higher epoxy."

In case the nut breaks in the removal process, I'd like to have a replacement or two to send in with the neck. The epoxy treatment is something I am considering, but haven't committed to yet (although I am on his waiting list)
