Noticed the boy staring at the BA5 on the stand so I took it down and showed him how it makes noises. He seemed amused.

So then I showed it to him. "Someday, all this can be yours!"

Now if only that Big Al had two more pick ups.

My 4 year old constantly wants to strum on my Bongo every time I play it, for some reason he doesn't mess with my 7ender.

I think he likes all the extra knobs the Bongo has.

My impression of that picture is that your Son is more or less processing the act as follows: (in his own way; at his own speed of course)

"Hmmm, single H 5-Banger huh?
Wonder if the Low B is really all that, I mean Jaco and Jamerson all did pretty well with 4-strings, and seeing as this model was originally intro'd as an SSS, why did he choose the single H config?
Matching headstock's cool and Inca Silver is the shizz...

Why does Daddy have so many basses? I'm HUNGRY now!

WAAAWAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Jack,

That's great stuff...ain't kids awesome?

I played my acoustic guitar for my 11 month old daughter the other day, and she was amazed!

When I finally get my basses and amp setup, she may hit the ceiling when she hears those deep lows...
