I recently bought a SR4 secondhand. Serial number is E18927. The color is something between stone-red and orange, with matching headstock and a Vintage White Pearloid Pickguard. Rosewood neck and 3-band EQ. In the Musicmannbass.org databass it is reported being from 11/2000.
Do you have any more info please, also about this strange color?

Hi and Welcome! Your SR4 was done on November 9, 2000. The color was called Fire Engine Red.

DOB: 2/21/08 This one would have ceramic pickups. We switched to alnico in March 2008

That serial number has one too many numbers in it. Is Honey Burst? I tried s/n E44485 and it came up as a SR4 in Honey Burst, Maple fretboard and shell pickguard. If that's the one, it was done on 11/11/04
