Anyone play any good halloween parties this weekend?

How was everyones halloween weekend. Anyone play anywhere?
I have never played on Halloween night , i always take my daughter out , and it's always fun time.

We played a benefit party friday and then saturday we played a club. Both places had costume contests. We dressed up friday I'll post some pics from the benefit with mesavox and I playing our Jp's in our costumes.

I played twice in church on halloween with the modified sub 1......does that count?


They now video our performances. I watched a couple of the vids on blip.tv and I'm convinced that:
A) It is true that sound guys set up for the drums and bass and call it a day...
B) The video guys don't even know that anyone besides the lead singer is on stage.

My band Dreamkiller played a Halloween party this past Saturday night. The band decided to dress as characters from Wizard of Oz. I, as you can see, am the Tin Man. The guitar you see is my 1997 Axis Sport (HSS). The guitar still plays and sounds great! I have a couple of battle scars on it, but I still love it. My hand fits the neck like a glove!

We're coming to California next week to play a string of shows before Christy, the lead singer, wins an award at the LA Music Awards show. If you're in LA, Santa Monica, West Hollywood come check us out! (I'll post this in a different thread with some videos of us playing.)

My band played a gig dressed like different rock stars. Our drummer was Ringo Starr, the bassist was Dusty Hill from ZZtop with fur covered bass. The other guitarist was Bret Michaels, the singer was Ozzy and I was Dimebag Darrell. I am waiting to get pics to post.

I have one of me but I'm using "another brand" for the photo, so I won't post it here, but at the gig, I used my cherryburst all night.

We played for about 2500 in Tribeca Saturday. It was a kid's costume parade (which we led) then a concert, we brought the horn section and it was a blast. Then Sunday we played a cool block party in Jersey City with about 700.

Here's an awful fan pic from the Tribeca show, You can just see the top of my head (red baseball hat) and the horn section (Robin Hood costumes) and the bassist (shiny blue jacket).

The kid's costumes were awesome and we really had a great time.
