I'm heading to the UK show in Southampton on the 20th November. Really can't wait. My friend and I scored a couple of VIP tickets to the gig

I went to Belgium for Luke's first show of this tour ; I brought back some souvenirs my daughter seems to enjoy...

If i brought my Luke with me,do you think that he would mind signing it ?or is that a bit too cheeky.

From what I have experienced he is such a humble and cool person, he most likely will. Especially if you have the VIP ticket which includes the meet and greet. So there is the opportunity for you to get close enough. Just bring your own marker with you for the case there is none at hand.
He signed my luke guitar last year in Hamburg. I met him when he and the whole band entered the venue and I asked him to sign my guitar and he was like "yes, sure". The only thing that nearly kept me from bringing my guitar was the thougt about carrying the case with me all night. So I took the guitar in my backpack style gigbag and the problem was solved.
Another possibility is just taking one of the backplates with you to sign so you don't have to carry your guitar. But make sure to have the backplate clearcoated afterwards because otherwise, the autograph will quickly fade.

He will, if you manage to catch him. Now there's the VIP treatment it's not likely that he will sign after the show...my Lukes were signed after shows, but don't know if it will that easy this tour..PS +1 at the clearcoat comment, one signature on my Luke is faded...bummer

I got him to sign the back (inside) of the tremplate, it will never wear off, (like the smile on my face). True, you can't see the sig without taking the plate off the guitar. For me, its good enough to know it's there
