pickup covers? (i'm not in the US)..

Just after a common garden variety black pickup cover, importer doesn't stock them so its 'special order' (read expensive and slow) from the US.

why? I have a classic coming next week, not a fan of the white cover :D

Ta!

Trying sending Justin Bianchi a PM at OzBass. He works for the EBMM distributor in Australia and should be able to order one for you.

I don't believe you'll find the pickup covers stocked in any store - they're strictly an ex-factory part.

What colour you getting? I was originally going to order a black one for mine for the same reason but haven't bothered - the white looks really good 'in the flesh' and I can't imagine the bass without the white pu cover now.

I wouldn't think they're very expensive but special order will mean a wait I guess.

Sonic blue, rosewood board.. I have a mint green guard coming for it as well, it's the classic 60s fender colour scheme! I also have a surf green, rosewood, mint green duesenberg guitar.. Love those pastel w/ mint green guard colour schemes!

If anything, I think if the white cover could be aged to a slight cream it would work, I suspect the pure white is going to look a bit funny though!

Cannot wait!
