I recently purchased the entire collection of the Beatles cartoon series on DVD, and am already brainwashing my 3yo and 4yo kids about how important the Beatles were/are.

They already have some favourite songs, always asking me to play "Piggyback Rider".

Hey mark where did you get the cartoons from I didn't know they were available

Wow Mark, that's a bargain. Thanks for the link. I remember that cartoon series well, some funny stuff. At that price I'm in.

My mother once broke into the Beatles' dressing room and stole their set list.

They were wild times!!!

1. "Who's your favorite Beatle?" (You had to have a favorite in the early days.)

2. "What's your favorite Beatles record?"

1. Paul by a longshot. Since I started to play bass only a few years ago, I am listening to Beatles stuff with fresh ears. I am amazed by some of Paul's bass lines. They were so unlike anything else at that time. How the heck did he think of doing that??

2. Sergeant Pepper. As far as I am concerned, this is when music started for me. John used to say that before Elvis, there was nothing. For me, before Sergeant Pepper there was nothing.

I can't even imagine life without The Beatles. If this brings their music to a new generation then let the digital downloads flourish I say! :D

I have successfully introduced them to my 3 yr old niece. I asked her what she liked the other day and she replied "Bee-tays and Stai-Was" That's baby talk for Beatles and Star Wars. ;)
