I've owned a couple MM basses in the past. Sterling 4H and a Bongo 4HH, and both were very high quality basses. I recently fell in love with the SR 5 HS, so I paid a deposit on a special order today.

SR 5 HS (obviously)
Candy Red finish
Matching Headstock
Maple fingerboard
White Pearl pickguard

Hopefully, I'll get this thing paid off before it's built! :D I can hardly wait for it to be all mine!

If it was not appropriate for me to start a new thread about this, then I apologize, and please move it to the appropriate place. And feel free to post pics of your (preferably red) MM basses!

That sounds like it will be a sweet looking bass. So when they start producing the turquoise pearl Rays I can just call customer service instead of looking for a guitar center that will have one?

I ordered mine from Bass Central. If they don't have what you want in stock, then they can order it.

I would call Customer Service if ever in doubt. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that Turquoise Pearl was a GC limited run. I could be wrong too, so call CS.

Turquoise Pearl is a GC limited run and they are on the GC Platinum website, so they have already been produced. You should call your local GC and have them locate one for you. GC will ship it to your local store.

Ooh, nice one. I ordered my first SR4 about two weeks after you did. If yours is nearly there I'm hoping mines not too far away either.
