The Luke 1 has a different feel and a slightly different sound than my 2 Luke II's. I haven't A/B'd them yet but I will this weekend. The pickups are different in the Luke 1 vs. Luke II.

Also, one of my Luke II's is a DDII so it has an ebony fingerboard. That particular guitar feels faster because of that fingerboard.

I actually like the floyd. It has a sound and feel of its own. I just don't enjoy restringing it.

Thanks! Now that I look at the neck, it's got birds eye on the top half and curly/flamed maple on the bottom half. It's really quite beautiful!
