Ever take off work early on a NGD? well I did at noon today. Figured that would give Mr Brown truck enough time to drop the AL on my doorstep. Well 5:00 and no box-torture:confused:
Left work early for nothin'

I've done that very same thing. In fact, I've taken full days off and had deliveries at 8pm.

Sucks until it arrives, but the torture is soon forgotten after it does.

I took a day off for my Al. and it around 5:30pm when Brown knocked on my door. Great feeling looking back on NGD. Enjoy your AL-HH when it arrives.

Got it 7:55
It's a keeper. Neck is so smooth and the pickups just sound really clear. both deep and bright. The ultimate AL. I would have liked a white or sunburst color but the price was right for this. If you haven't seen this color it's not red like the pic might show. Not sure how to describe but it's cool. I might throw some cream colored knobs on it.

That is without a doubt the coolest red in my book. Congrats and I do not even have to say it as I know you are going to love that ax. I personally want to add two more AL HH guitars, a Mint Green and Coral red, hopefully by the summer.

I'm working from home today waiting for my Blueburst Steve Morse with Floyd. I'm hoping it gets here by 11am EST.

An excellent choice!

Mine was due to arrive on a Friday...I was at work on the thursday and got a call from the delivery guy to check the address as he was on his way and would be about 40 mins...I work 45 mins from home!!!! Suffice to say I made my excuses and left work early and raced home (within speed limits of course :) ) and got there 5 minutes after the delivery had....

But he left it with a neighbour so it was ok in the end and I had my HH a day earlier than I expected :)

I let the AL SSS go to a forumite-Brian B
I am going to miss it. I held on to my old white silo though. Just can't afford 2 ALs right now. One would not get the attention it deserves. I think I can pick up another SSS down the road for an affordable price

I threw some 9's on the HH and it plays smooth. For some reason I like 9's with Hbuckers. I can't stop looking at those shiny pickups!!:D
