Yep, great vids thks for posting. Watched them several times already.
Really interesting on the manuf. process and love the little electronic instruction tags. Thought most shops ran on a barcode system. As usual for EBMM great innovation from start to finish of a great product.

Wonder how long Dudley will be able to throw around the Steve Morse No 2. When Mr Morse finally worn out no 1 so no wood left to refret I reckon no 2 will mysteriously disappear and end up on a Deep Purple or Dregs rig haha
Tommy probably already got a cunning plan on how to steal it

Better watch that one BP, another chain on that vault methinks

Cheers
Baz

Just watched the factory tour again.

1) What a great way to do the binding! When I found out a while ago that the binding was "poured" I imagined the guitar body in it's final shape, with a dam built up to accommodate the poured binding. How wrong I was - great idea having the balnk do the work for you and pouring slightly oversize.
2) Putting a back bow on the neck was interesting too. After inducing a back bow and then sanding the neck, when the neck is returned to "absolute flat" my impression is that the result is a slight concave bow - relief.
3) interesting to see BP conduct the tour from the finished article to the raw state - backwards.
In "Lean or six sigma" terms a "Gemba" - a go see where often you can learn more from following the process from finish to start - or was the "finish" station just closer to they guys when the cameras started rolling ;)

Loved the white EVH with black hardware and binding. Would look awesome on the Reflex!

After working in a manufacturing environment for several years, it's great to see a company that focuses on quality rather than just focusing on driving down costs. Respecting the niche is also a great motto.

Thanks for keeping such a great organization in our state!

Awesome videos. Very insightful. I just picture the last 2 Axis guitars (I had my local dealer order direct from the company.)going through the production line while I was watching the videos. Very cool.

Just a shout out to Dreadge for posting these and starting this thread. One of the great threads and one that, for me, was really needed after the sadness of MBGREENE's passing.

Thanks. And to Premeire Guitar for the inside look with great questions and camera shots. Must see tv!
