I just downloaded control function diagram and ...wow, ...don't know what to say...

Very interesting! :)

Q: does buyer of this GC reflex get some factory software on CD, or something for use with PC when plugged in with USB?

And this 3 "AA" batteries power supply, ...hmmm, very interesting indeed!

I must admit now that I didn't expected that fast progress in Your factory BP!
If I knew that before, maybe I'd delay my standard reflex order, but now is too late!
But however, It's too early for any serious conclusion, I mean, even if I want one GC, I can't try one, ...so...

Very interesting. I notice the neck is like a SR width at nut but is 22 frets like a Sterling . . . nice.

Can we assume that the software will work on Macs? Or will it be online?

I think we have a better chance of EB making a Jazz bass than BP developing a PC only application. Indeed the laptops shown in the vids were all Apples.

That's on top of the 18V pre I'm sure.

I am sure Big Poppa will correct me if I am wrong but the way I read the specs there is no use any other batteries other than the 3 AA's. I know of another company that ditched the 9 volt battery for AA's. I wish more companies would do this as 9 volt batteries around here are getting hard to come by.

As for the Game Changer itself I am really excited for it. I just wish you could get it in a Stingray or Sterling body, but I am sure that will come in time. In the mean time I have to save for this one. :D

3 AAA's and only 100 hours of life. looks like a battery eater. a phantom power cable would have to be used if I bought one. hope they put them in the Stingrays

it is not 100 hours it is way more..and the batteries are not in use when connected to the usb. It is not software. It is web based...you sign on to your account from any computer and your patches along with all the artist ones ar stored on our cloud free of charge

Cool.

I'm pretty much convinced that I'll be ordering one of these at their earliest availability.

I will take a black one if y'all goin' Model-T like that but otherwise I believe a goldtop is in order.

You put a indian rosewood neck on that sucker like the AL HH and I'll buy two.

OK

I need a little help here

These pics are artist mocks, huh?

The one with three knobs doesn't have a blade switch.

The one with two knobs still has a Piezo jack.

Just a little odd. Funny thing though - I've been looking at these pics for three days and just noticed this now.

This is one of the greatest idea's I have seen in a long time for a musical instrument, the name really does say it all, its a bold step and I hope it does very well for you guys at EB as it deserves to, I hope we get a Gamechanger Stingray to ;)

So does it use only 3 AA batteries for everything or are those batteries separate from the 9V batteries for the active pick ups?
