nice playing as always pertyman. I much prefer the ray slap sound to the w*****k one on the original. i agree Fretless rays sound great slapped i use mine for rockabilly so it gets a good old slapping on songs like baby lets play house - with the treble turned down though!

Well, I must admit that I'm a little bit disappointed (not about Your great playing Perty), but it seems to me that JB... at 0.20 minutes and 1.00 so as W@... at 1.05 minutes sounds the best to me! (three times listening)

But just want to add (to save Music Man slap reputation), recently I tried at my local store new Classic Stingray 5 (Tobacco Burst/Birdseye/RW) and proudly can confirm that I never tried a better slapping tone bass in my 30 years of playing a bass! (as far as I can remember :D )

Fun way to start off the day, thanks for sharing. And by the way, my sterling sounds better than all those sweet basses. ;)

I'd love to watch this video but only get that idiotic YouTube message, that says the video contains music from <any major record company> and can not be watched in my country.

Is there a way for you to handle this with YT? I have seen other videos like this that listed links to Amazon and/or iTunes to purchase the song and maybe even stated it was a playalong to demo instruments or to teach the bass lines.

It really gets annoying to watch these companies and their lawyers torpedo one of their strongest points of sale because they are still stuck in the last century. :( ... </rant>
