the D-String on my silo appears to be too quiet.Especially for riff works.
Can I adjust it by turning the "screws" from the top? I guess i need an allen wrench.

Does it happen even if you replace the strings with brand new EBMM strings?

I won't say that this applies to you, but I asked the same question to customer service about my ASS MM90 and they said no.
