Hard to tell but it looks like it cleaned up nicely.

I have to agree with 2 above me, it needs the pick guard.

I didn't clean it yet, couldn't wait to share, plus I need to stock up on some basic cleaning supplies, it's the Canadian cold that makes every thing look so sparkly!

Hey foggy, yeah I was surprised at how comfortable this guitar plays, and the tone, yowsa!

Lovely guitar.

Not a fan of the original pick guards on the Sports.

What about a clear PG to finish it off, Y2D style?

Love the pics outside, Raz. I was only kidding about taking the axe outside, lol. that driveway sends the chill up my spine, looks just like my driveway, which I just shoveled.
You gotta take a quick drive down to Steve's, get yourself a can of Finger Ease and a bottle of Martin guitar polish. That'll shine that baby right up.
i vote no pick guard. If you have to, go for a clear one, like the one on the Morse.

Thanks guys, I thought about the transparent pick guard, but like I said before I don't need a pick guard, my JP7 doesn't have a mark on it, I was never one to meander that far off the strings...I just love the way it looks. Actually from the pics in the ad, to what I have now it seems they are two entirely different guitars. I thought it was a solid green colour, but the grain is alive and vibrant!

No worries Tung, I was only out there for 30 seconds...you should have seen the neighbors faces, as I was taking these pics in my house coat, in fact I think it might have opened up! Woops!

Raz I think it looks great with no pick guard, that white one was brutal and did the guitar no justice looks great now. I do think if you were to put one on clear was a great choice from the guys.
