I owned a Parker... fun guitar to play, very easy to play neck. very light instrument, but... the tone... ehhh, no big deal. I also own a 2010 loaded jp6. love it. beautiful (red pearl), great neck, great build, and the tone.... exquisite through all my tube amps. wonderful harmonics, over and under tones. I'm not a shredder, I'm a 60 year old blues, blues/rock dude... this axe sounds great for those genres. love the natural sustain too. recently I needed some extra cash and thought of selling it along with a vox virage and custom dean usa soltero. I hadn't played the jp6 for a while. got it out, just to be sure I wanted to sell... can't do it sounds and feels too good, so she's staying. Parting wih my Parker was easy, don't miss it at all.

"vs." threads can get dark very fast...

IMHO, the bridge on the JP alone makes is more desirable. Amazing. I hear the piezo tones on the Parker are wonderful. In my experience with carbon fibre construction, It is much more climate resistant and nicely resonant. That said, I'm so dang happy with what EBMM boys keep throwing at me, that I have no reason to go try a Parker.

Thank goodness we have choice! We all win.

I owned a Parker fly deluxe for about a year. At the time I loved it till the frets literally started coming off. Set off a red flag for me so I decided to sell it (at a discount ofcourse due to the fret issue) to fund my first ebmm. A pearl redburst jp6. 4 ebmm later I Haven't looked back. To me not just the jp, but every model I've owned is a much better sounding, looking and overall just felt better. Piezo included.... Nothing against Parker but to me ebmm has the 'it' factor when playing. Which we all know isn't just about tone but feel as well.
