Hey Everyone,

I thought I'd post this on the forum and get everyones opinion. When I first posted this picture of my two Lukes, someone said 'You should put the rosewood neck on the Olive Gold body'. I can't get the idea out of my head, and now really want to do it.

So, I thought I'd put the idea out here again...what does everyone think?

Cheers,

Jamie.

Do it!

At least your headstocks aren't painted. All it takes is a screwdriver and a bit of set up time afterward.

It might turn into your favorite guitar!

Yes. Rosewood neck is money and on an olive gold Luke, it would be awesome. I know one member has an OG Luke with rosewood neck and it looks great.

I dunno man. I just don't know. I wouldn't know how to do it myself so I wouldn't do it. if you're confident in your abilities to disassemble and assemble then go for it.

It's completely reversible. As long as you're careful, I'd say why not do it!

Nothing hard about taking off a neck. I think the rosewood will be perfect on the Olive Gold, and the natty headstock will work better on the Egyptian Smoke. Go for it man!

Do it, you may find the sum of those parts make something even more special than you could foresee.

Like a lot of the guys I swap necks around, and have found my ideal.

Pics pics pics!

 I was the one who suggested you to swap and I'm going to say it again :)

the natural headstock will match the bright color and the all rosewood will suit the Olive gold perfectly

I'm surprise you haven't try yet :p

Rob is right swapping neck is just piece of cake
