I'm sorry if this question has already been posed and answered sixty times. I did a number of searches and couldn't find anything.

I'm curious if there's any plan to do a 7-string version of the Sterling by Music Man JP50. I got a chance to play a bunch of Sterlings today, and they all felt great right off the shelf. I don't play 7-strings enough to justify buying the JP7, but if there were a Sterling version, I think I'd be up for that.

IIRC, Pat said they were considering other options, but they were concentrating on the few they have for the moment. I will say that after a pro setup and having it tuned to C Standard that I am really loving mine. I've barely touched my ASS or JP6 BRF lately. (Thanks DT for the C-Standard tunes to play :p)

I'd probably drop the money on that just to have a seven-stringer. I'm a little scared of that extra string (not to mention the fact that I haven't fully figured out what to do with the six I have) and definitely wouldn't go for a top end seven stringer, but just to play around with ...

Sounds fishy Pat. I think I'm more inclined to believe a first-time poster with no affiliation to SBMM than some dude with a company logo in his signature.
