Yes. In fact I just had to sell my Axis Super Sport. I have 2 other axis guitars that I love, but one just didn't gel with me. In fact my hand cramped up when I played it. The funny thing is that a friend of mine picked it up and he flipped out over it. He thought it was the best guitar neck in my collection.

Chances are someone out there will flip over your Luke, and you'll get an excuse to buy another EBMM!!!

im just realising that im not getting along with my DD2 Luke ??
i play it all the time but when i pick up my BFR Luke ,that guitar just suits me!
how is this possible there so similar? anyone else had this issue with similar guitars

maybe looking into a trade for a bfr??
not sure.
maybe i need to let a guitar guru give it some love:)

There's nothing wrong with the guitar, it's all in your head, it must be broken, hehe.

I know what you are talking about though, l love my Luke 1 the most, it's so comfortable, l also use my DDII for drop tuning, I love mine, my BFR doesn't get much love, but that not cause it feels weird or anything, i just don't use it, my Luke blue Luke 2 doesn't feel right, i just can't place it. Take it for a setup then see how you feel.

I think once you find the cause of this problem and get it setup again you might have second thoughts.

But if worse comes to worse, you could always give it to me. hehe.

Call Joe at Soxy Music in St. Kilda. They only opened up in Melbourne last year, but he's worked in the UK and Germany for years. I've seen some of his work, and he's set up guitars for me, and he's the only guy I'd happily hand my guitars over to.
Not putting down James' work, but I've spoken to a couple of people who've taken guitars to Joe that have been set up at Cargills, and they were happier once Joe had finished with them!

I can recommend a guy near me ... he understands and appreciates what gems EBMM guitars are ... but I suspect Frankston might be a little far for you.

could be the ebony but I'm not sure it buzzes out on the D string and G when played open. I straighten the neck then back it off then raise the saddles until stupidly high and it still buzzes out the high E played up high when bending buzzes out (fretting out). and the action has just died in the ass !!
I've been setting my Lukes up for years but this one has me stumped ??

How is the nut height? Hold down the strings at the 4th fret, then check the gap between the string and the top of the 1st fret. If the string is touching, its too low, there should be a very small gap.
