Obsession soon to become reality (Roasted Bongo 5H content)

After more than 3 years of obsessing over whether I should or shouldn't buy a Bongo 5H I finally decided to pull the trigger. I'd had enough of waiting for a store (any store) to finally have one in stock so I could hear one in person, and compare it to my Bongo 5HS, before laying down the cash.

So....after finding this one posted on TB, a rare occurrence for a Bongo 5H, I had to jump on it.

I am so looking forward to this and can't wait for it to arrive. The BP bass will finally be mine!!!

Stu- I have the same bass and it's a killer. You're going to love the way the B string sounds on an "H", it's just perfect.

Man…I know how you feel and I wish I could spread the joy around. Once I get comfortable with it and have explored it for a while I may try to record some sound samples with it in comparison with my Bongo HS and my Sterling. I know that the topic of what the different models of Bongo sound like comes up enough and I feel like I want to do my part to contribute to the base of info that's out there so I'll try to report back on that topic.

It was so black I thought it was a Stealth model so I kept it a secret I ordered this from the DuBaldos back when the window was open. At that time I was mostly playing single H Bongos.
