Bought a MM Fretless SUB bass a couple years back from a guy in Memphis, Serial # X04346, I payed 400 for the bass and Hard case, I think I got a pretty good deal, but I would like to know some more info about it, Whenever I do see SUB basses I don't see fretless ones, any idea how many fretless were made? Thanks!

DOB: October 15, 2003 We did offer these with the fretless option, but in our database, this serial number comes up with a fretted neck.

4 H, maple fretboard, color looks some sort of dark blue? Seems to be a '96.

Unfortunately the serial number is attached to one complete instrument as it leaves the factory, so if a swap was done later, there is really no way for us to look anything up in our system regarding that.
