Well, that's the problem, it doesn't have one. Or is it hidden somewhere inside ...??

It should be stamped into the neckplate
Serial # 59938
When was it built, where did it ship to and what color was it when it left the factory?

DOB: January 12, 1998 It was shipped to Veneman Music Co in Rockville, MD and it was white

Hi Aziah,
Just discovered the database, what a brilliant resource.
I've owned a SR4 Trans. red since the late 80's
SN B023368 any information you can give me would be very welcome so I know the history behind my bass.

Cheers,

Guy

Guy, no records exist for the early "B" serial numbers (both Pre-EB and EB Basses). B023xxx was used on both. Is yours the former or the latter? That will help identify the approx age.

Gav, My bass is an EB edition with a square neck plate without "Made In U.S.A." stamped on it.
The Headstock logo is the transistional one, so I'm guessing my bass would have been made sometime during 1985-1986?
Is this as close to the actual date that I am going to get?

Thanks.
Guy.

Just recieved my new beauty! My first fretless. I think we're going to have a long, prosperous life together. But, i'd like to pin down her D.O.B. Is this considered a BFR? I ask because, since it's fretless, there's no inlay and I didn't recieve the Official BFR Certificate with the bass.
Thanks!!! E77127
