Hi Guys...just thought I would tell you the news...I have just signed a year long contract with UK EBMM distrubutors Strings and Things as their official UK demonstrator and Game Changer Specialist. This runs along side my continuing long term artist endorsment contract that I have had since 1997 with EBMM. The position means that along side Nick Clubb at S&T, I shall be heading up and running a new demo program, organising and performing in store demo's and and clinics covering all of the UK and also Ireland. We are all very excited about this new partnership. As you all know I have been a long time fan/user/endorsee of EBMM guitars, strings and products, and I cant wait to get out on the road! We have just annouced the position, so once my Brian May and Kerry Ellis tour is completed at the end of May, I shall be pushing forward with clinics and all day instore events. I shall also be filming more guitar demo videos in my studio, and have a much bigger presence here on the forum answering your questions on the range of guitars. I have used pretty much all of the guitars on various sessions, DVD's and tours, so I will be able to give first hand info on my experiences and applications of the guitars.
As well as this; once the Game Changer is available, I shall be fully trained in how it works, and will be using the guitar on clinics, in store demos, and videos, as well as introducing this incredibley versatile instrument into my arsenal of touring and session guitars. So once I have my hands on one and have had time to get to grips with it, I will also be able to answer questions, and give you updates on my use and experience with the instrument. So some exciting times ahead. Hope to see some of you UK forum guys at clinics at some point. When I start getting in dates and venues, I'll post them up here on the forum. I will also post up dates from the Brian May tour. I shall be using 3 Axis Supersports on the road. My main HH Supersport, with trem and piezo, plus a new backup of the same guitar, but fully standard; my "Old Faithfull" has 36th Anniversary DiMarzio's fitted, but #2 is totally stock. I shall also be using my fixed bridge custom built Axis Supersport, with an MM90 in the neck and a DiMarzio DLX Plus P90 in the bridge. This guitar will be in Eb tuning. I have just had an LR Baggs venue DI acoustic preamp wired into my rack, as there are quite a few songs on this tour where I use both acoustic and electric. I had a pre rehearsal guitar rehearsal with Brian May at his studio last week, and he was blown away by my Supersports. He loved the feel of the neck, the tones and the flexibility of the piezo. Anyway, thats my first update...See you on the road!! Jamie Humphries..:)

Fantastic times, great news Jamie!

We'll be seeing you on the Kerry/Brian tour, and hopefully at some clinics.

Keen to hear what you dial in with the Game Changer too.

Great news Jamie - the way you play those guitars makes you the obvious choice, look forward to seeing you soon.

Great news for the UK people for sure. In the mean time, I'll continue learning from your youtube vids, which are great.
