He does seem very very driven, in a good way. Sounds a nice chap, too.

I can't wait either, clearly from the reaction of the guys there, there's some special drumming yet to come.

I love it!

Yup, a really well put together documentary I reckon.

The new stuff they threw around for the jam sounded brutal, I love it!

Makes it easy to remember the "new guy's" name when it's the same as the "old guy" lol. Hopefully that doesn't prove to be a curse.

My bet is on Marco Minneman, then Virgil Donati, in that order. My two favorite drummers out there right now.

I've read somewhere that Mike Mangini is very gifted mathmatically, and obviously rhythm wise too. His signature snare is based off the Golden Ratio, for goodness sake!! He seems to gel with the band. Obviously, if I was a musician in a band of that caliber, I would want to know about the new guy's consistency as a player and also bad habits, if any. NO SURPRISES!!
