Choice are either what Music Man offers or what Chandlers offers, OK thoughts:p

For the red Silo I'd go vintage white pearloid. For the black Silo I vote for the crazy black/white/orange style, but I don't know if you can still get that from EBMM any more. I love that pickguard material!

Tasty guitars, Keith.

You staying HSS for both?

Yes both are staying HSS, the SSS is on order and is coming with white vintage pearliod like my HH AL so looking for something different!!
Swop 'em - job done lol

LOL Spud my friend but dislike both stock pickguards:)

Oh orange swril, I do like that thats the one Fogman dared me to get on an Al and loved it!! Maybe I should inquire to back stock, if gold swril was around I would do that as well, good ideas

White or black pearloid on the candy red. If you go black pearloid get black covers and knobs if you think that looks cooler. Not sure about the roasted, perhaps black pearloid on that too.

Keith you have me so dizzy I dont know what you still have ,what is gone or what is coming in. I think you might as well open up a store that just sells EB guitars. You are the man!

I had my dealer inquire about a gold swirl pg for my roasted Morse, they couldn't order one so I went with tort which in my opinion should blend in nicely with the subtle gold sparkles...I bet orange swirl would look great, too and you can still get these from Chandler (Jeff did a mock-up for me with a orange swirl pg...looked great but prob. a little "busy"...).

As for the candy red Silo Spec (which is gorgeous btw!) I would keep things "classic" and go with white pearl (or a "plain" cream or parchment colored pg from Chandler).

Be sure to let us know what you end up with!

Tort on the red one. Tort would also look great on the roasted, and I like the abalone idea but with the special swanky paint job, I'd be inclined to leave it as it is. Black pearl just wouldn't be black enough. Maybe a really dark abalone. Doesn't somebody do a black abalone guard?

"Black Perloid" for the Roasted, if it had to be changed. I'd leave the roasted alone though, that thing looks menacing with the black on black!

^this!!!

I can only remember now that your "forever guitar" is sold and that your purple reflex went to the People's Republic of Torontostan (and I've been trying to get it from Jeff :) ). I will say that black with pearloid is wonderful. I still have your old silo spec w/piezo pg on my sub 1 with gwdavis's pickups and silent circuit.

LOL all, thanks for the replies still deciding, and well of course mine changes this time due to economics and health issues.

Love the JP, but juvinile arthritis in both the midle and ring fingers made that an uncomfortable axe to play and I only have one collectible.
Also have elbow issues again so must have guitars that hug me:)

Anyways dont you all like suprises:)

Either going vintage white pearliod or black pearliod on the candy red and very undecided on the roast:)
