Big Poppa since it seems that everyone really liked the natural look even though we all jumped the gun, maybe it could of given you and the crew in the shop an idea to make a natural finish one option, by the way while we are talking finishes I think a few BFR AL HH's in Pinkburst like the originals would be great lol.

I'd be tempted to stick a big shiny "L3" sticker on the lower corner.... :)

Only thing that interests me is the sound and I expect a different feel due to the string tension difference of the reversed headstock.
Let´s wait for the finished product and thanks for the insight.

I think I read somewhere that Luke was interested in a 2H configuration for "Heavier" style of music, but I can't remember in which magazine...
Anyway thanks BP for that teaser, awesome guitar to come!

Really looking forward to the development of these :) as BP and Luke have said it is very much still a work in progress but so far it looks great :D Luke said he is doing some other major stuff to make it look different, pickups etc.

here we go with me explaining that where 8 forumites like something that it is cayenne pepper. I promise you that these would not sell enough to justify based on the response here

If people love natural wood then paintstripper and oil varnish is easy to do.... did that once and loved the results but prefer paint on my guitars!

How about a technical question on the reverse headstock? I thought I read somewhere that the traditional 4/2 was better for tuning stability - as the G string is typically an issue on standard 3/3 guitars. Is this true? Would reversing the headstock be purely an aesthetics thing, or would there be technical implications?

Thanks for the first look Pops. A double bucker would be awesome. Anywho...I will sit back and enjoy the ride. Thanks again.

Totally understood. thanks for sharing sir. Great looking prototypes. I'd still love to grab one of them off your hands to put on my wall and cherish it. :)

I understand where you are coming from BP but the responce to the unfinished look was very popular before everyone knew they were all protos. Maybe having one finish option being unfinished may be something to think about, just let it marinate in your head for a while lmfao.

Is it a realistic / plausible idea to finish the body's the same way the necks are done? The necks feels sublime... Couldn't the bodies too?
