Hey Big Paul,

If you're just getting warmed up again after a 15 year hiatus, I highly recommend licklibrary.com dvds. The ones that teach you five songs from a particular band. Jamie Humphries is the best instructor, and he plays Axis guitars. His Van Halen Volume 2 is essential.

Note to Jamie....please make Van Halen volume 3 with some stuff from the Hagar years. Poundcake, Spanked, Man on a Mission...

If you order one, you better be ready to wait a month for it to arrive. I'm serious. But you should check out the website. Good luck, Paul...

where do i go there at licklibrary.com? lessons?

Hello again,

On the left hand side of the screen, there is an area called: Product Groups. Under that title, you can click on Licklibrary DVDs, and it brings you where you need to go.

If you click on a DVD, it often doesn't tell you what songs are on it. To find that out, I click on the accompanying "Backing Tracks" cd, and it will list the songs there.

You can also type the name of the band in the search box, but that will also include books and stuff...

Count me in as another BOSS DD3 user, (...) but I am quite happy with the DD3 from the day I bought it and still find it on the boards of some big players.
+1 Boss DD3 for me and look on who´s pedal board you can find it too? Anybody knows it?

is it Joe Bonamassa? i was told to go to youtube and check him out with the DD3 demo he does and that looks familiar.
correct! I stood right in front of him (and his pedal board) at a very small venue (tent, about 800 people) in my hometown Ulm, Germany. more in this thread

I have a vintage Boss DM-3 that I love. SO warm. I am interested to see what the Strymon Timeline can do. The El Capistan is just stellar.

Digitech Digidelay: Very versatile and you can pick used ones up cheap. Good tape delay sim. And a good way to split the signal into stereo.

Had a DD-3 and sold it.

Now I have two Digitech Digidelays and one vintage Morely Analog delay AER-600.

I think someone already mentioned it , Melekko Ekko 616.
Mine is run through my fx loop and works great.
The modulation is nice as well.

if you want an analogue delay please look at the Carl Martin red repeat. Amazing sounding pedal. I also use the mxr carbon copy on clean sounds

I'd say, go to your local used place and grab an analog pedal and digital pedal and let 'em fight it out. I use an old Carl Martin that I got for cheap, but I'm not that picky.
