The floyd rose style bridge on the axis is so low that it causes a lot of buzz. When i rased the bridge it turned it into a floating bridge but i want it fixed like on the van halen models, i tightened the springs so its on the body but its sitting on an angle
anybody know how to fix this probelm?

might be that a truss adjustment is needed, but without seeing pics it's hard to tell. does your neck have relief?

YIKES! Tis the humid season and the buzz is most likely just a matter of adjusting the neck.

You should un-do what you did. ;)

Then, while standing with the guitar strapped on, stick an allen wrench into the truss rod adjuster and pull it up to relieve the tension and eliminate the buzzing. It may take several turns, one turn being moving the allen wrench from the straight up position (perpendicular to the body) until it almost touches the body. So, it's more like a quarter turn, I guess. So, several of these quarter-turns should do it.

Check for buzzing at the first and 19th frets between quarter-turns.

I hope this helps! Good luck...

the neck looks pretty straight tho, i ordered it in coz i live in melbourne and no one stocks them, its how it arrived, i had my teacher look at it coz he has an evh musicman but yeah he just made it float kinda like how people make fender tremolo's float, i guess it couldve happened during travel to melbourne, but it was in the hard case :/
do i have to be careful when adjusting the trussrod? i dont wanna damage the neck, it seems pretty fragile in its unfinished natural haha

I had the same problem with the floyd rose on my steve morse guitar.I adjusted the trussrod and there was still a lot of buzz..So I disassembled the neck and removed the small plastic shim from the back side of the neck pocket. The neck angle changed and the string height was perfect...If you adjust the trussrod correctly maybe the problem could be solved. On my guitar didn't, that's why i removed the neck shim..I don't know if it's correct..I suggest that you should call customer service
