EBMM Axis SUper Sport Custom Made

I just got a Blue Axis super sport from eBay, and it is a bit different. It has P90 pickups and a Piezo pickup as well. It has round chrome knobs instead of the normal one. It also has a blue quilt top and matching headstock. The peculiar part is on the neck plate it says "Custom Made" below the usual EBMM logo. Can any one give me more info on the custom shop at EBMM?

Before the BFR's you could order an Axis with a premium quilted top as an upcharge. This gave rise to the neck plate you see. There is no custom shop per se at EBMM.

At one point we offered upgraded tops for an additional fee. The buyer could choose quilt or flame and received an exceptionally figured top (and often a more figured neck). That's why your guitar says "Custom Made". The chrome knobs are standard with the piezo option and MM90 pickups are also a standard option.

That thing is awesome. When I bought my first EBMM a few months ago, that is the exact guitar that I wanted(piezo & all). I happened on a great deal on my 25th and I'm not disappointed,but that is the exact guitar that I dreamt of originally. Congrats, it's beautiful.

MM90 and Piezo ASS! BEAUTIFUL! Such a tone monster. I wish I had money for all these balls. An MM90 ASS is definitely on the wish list!!
