So whats everyone up to this weekend? , around here the Quonset air show will be going on.
It will be a very noisy neighborhood for a few days and alot of traffic around. so it should be interesting. i will get to see the Blue Angels which is always cool to see.

Not much this evening - gig tomorrow at a wedding however. Next weekend will be much more exciting, playing in the Arena district of downtown Columbus Ohio after the very large Red White & Boom fireworks show!!!

i'm playing tomorrow night at riley's in marlow oklahoma (a big club in the middle of nowhere with a big covered outdoor stage https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=182878115099292)with the band and tonight fishing with the gf and a drive in movie.

thanks the good thing is I dont have to go for at all just walk out my door , or little better view just down the street. If it wasnt for 3 big trees in front of the apartment I would have the best view since i live on the 3rd floor

Had a great afternoon around my mates guitar workshop. He gave me a lesson in filing nuts.
Him and his business partner are also producing a valve amp which is housed in a 30's style metal chassis.
The metal fabricator popped in and was showing off his metal bodied resonator guitar (fabricated himself)
He then brought in a guitar made from a brass Beer drip tray - kinda similar to this but his was much better

He's gonna drop one off for me to build a guitar that I can use for slide as all my balls are set too low.
