Wow. Lovers in the Night! It's a long time since I've seen them play it live... and Luke is on fire! Damn. He's at the top of his game and that L-III sounds great and looks great!

Don't like the luke 111 it's not got pearl tuners LOL.
Great find Andy , really looking forward to tomorrow. That new Luke does sound completly differant to the Luke 2 IMO..

I never think about that much. Luke is massive in England (amongst musicians) and even bigger in Wider Europe. We are privilaged to be able to see and hear a player of his calibre live. His playing is the history of popular music since 76 and one day mainstream media will value his contributions. Lukather is stuff of legend. I do feel for the american fans...

It's weird, I'm 24 now and have seen Toto 7 times live and Luke solo 10 times. You US folks should be jealous haha! But still I think I liked Lukes solo techniques best at the Toto IV album era and the mid-90s, so around the time the Candyman record was recorded. Love him still, but those times were just (true) gold to me! :p

Thanks for the links. The Liii sounds great to me! Like it much more than his EMG-Pickups sounds
+ a great solo in the first song.

Absolutely amazing. LIII sounds great, Luke sounds great, can't wait to see them live on July 17th :)
