I agree, and of the 4 albums you listed 3 of the 4 are my favorites from the band, IaW, SFaM, SDoIT... I can't wait to hear the rest.

really? i was not happy with SC but BC&SL was a great album.
to me the song sounds and feels like it would fit onto BC&SL.

Haven't been able to hear it yet, but I'm sure it's awesome. Lots of criticism from people, lot of people who love it.

I am just getting a kick out of the comments along with lines of "Portnoy is gone, and suddenly we can hear Myung."

not really. it´s similar but not the same.
the fades on SFAM to SDOIT to TOT to Octavarium are the same.

Contrary to the last single, I actually liked this one, and since I ended up liking BC&SL, I now have high hopes for this album! although the mix is a little strange, but I wont judge it from a YT video, and it certainly won't stop me from buying the album.

I can't argue that, Fred. Octavarium definitely had a different, more pop-like feel than the other three - but I do hear some of it in the new tune. I also fell in love with BC&SL, but this new stuff seems to be more of a throwback to the old days. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Truthfully, I don't care what they put out. I'll buy it anyway, because to one degree or another, it all grows on me. They are great musicians, great guys, and I like supporting them.

I've have had this on play since yesterday, like most of you guys probably have.

Just like all DT tracks, it just keeps getting better play after play.

Subtle nuances are being picked up, and themes roll by (and I roll with them?)

Great track.
