If I'd have anything negative to say about this incredible company it would be: Everything they make is so damn perfect.
I wish I had a reason to stop buying these incredible Basses, but I can only find a reason to keep buying.
Hmm. Thanks My Ernie Ball Music Man Friends.

The only bad thing is the addiction in buying them! Although I see them as wise investment as well as a great instrument :)

And something to pass on to future generations. If I have children someday, they need to know that their father played quality basses, and that they should enjoy them on the same levels as I did. Rather that then give them some crappy SX bass and end up on Dr. Phil.

Musicman Nut, this always made me wonder....

How exactly is it possible to store 300-400 basses? Nice collection, of course, but do you live in a warehouse? :D

Don't live in one but has a Nice Private one that's Privately owned but it's getting full with Basses and Amps.

You do realize, don't you, that if you have children someday they're likely to become drummers, right? Anything but bass players.

I do have 2 daughters 19 and 22 they Both love Looking at these basses but have no desire to play. I was Blessed with a Dad who was a Pro Bass Player around the Toronto area and got me hooked at the age of 8 years old with my first learning Basses a 1962 fender Precision which I still Have. My Dad today is 83 years old and is proud to play a Music Man Sterling I gave him 2 years ago. and He really Loves it. He has since retired his Blonde 59 P Bass. Thanks Dad

So Dave... I am thinking "Coffee Table Book" ( you know, the really big ones , with a buch of awesome COLOR pictures) and of it would have to have an "autobiographical section" for stuff like this:

Yeah, Mr. Nut, I agree wholeheartedly.

The one and only thing about EBMM that I wish was different: color availability/distribution.

There are colors the guitar guys can get that we cannot, even on equivalent models. I briefly owned a Trans Orange Albert Lee guitar with a tort guard and loved the combo. Can't get that on the Big Al, despite the fact it's a current color. No matter... I fully trust the company's judgment even if I don't quite understand the reasoning behind restrictions like this.

A separate but similar wish is for great colors to stick around. Desert Gold was fabulous and I'm really glad I've got a DG Bongo. I would have ordered my Big Al in that color if I could. I can certainly understand the need to limit the number of colors in rotation, though, as well as the wisdom of keeping the product looking fresh over time. Some colors will always be available (black, white, etc.). Others are of limited interest and the company needs to move on.

+1 adouglas. The color thing always reappears here, but that's how it goes.

Desert Gold was a great color; so was my beloved #51 Trans Teal -- a bummer, albeit explainable, why neither is available anymore. Personally, though, I'm happy I got my hands on the second Dargie package (since other non-MM interests kept me from the first run) before it too became unavailable. In my opinion, the DD finishes are the most handsome and visually stunning than any other color.

Here's what I dislike about EBMM:

That's all folks. :)
Yes I'm a fan, but am so due to the superb basses and the great company that makes them.
