As far as GC exclusives go, it is a new color for them. Pretty cool color much like the Dargie 2's. It color shifts from aqua to a light purple.

Aqua purple is the correct name for this color. We did a small run of them for Guitar Center. I have to say that those pictures don't do the color justice. The color is slightly color shifting kind of like Mystic Dream on a Petrucci. The pictures on that site don't show any of the purple shift unfortunately.

I hope to have mine in my hands by the end of the week. I'll post pictures as soon as is reasonable. But I'm pretty sure the pix glen posted is the one that's coming home to me..

Just noticed that the pic Glen posted was hosted out of my PhotoBucket account... So I hope that is the one coming home to me... Shipment tracking says it should be here tomorrow. I'm excited.

I am curious.. were any other Music Man Guitars or Bass Guitars made in the Aqua Purple Finish? Or was it strictly for the Single H 4 string Big Als?

It's here... And it is pretty... It's certainly not just silver.. It's also near impossible to photograph. Primarily it's an aqua green and shifts to a light lavender. The pictures do not do it justice. I'd post pics but they are all already here. Maybe I'll take some others when the light is better.

I dont think I've ever looked at the Platimun site (even though I bought a Classic from them). But wow to all those great looking colors and especially with roasted necks. I wish I had deep pockets to buy a dozen of those. The blue frost and raspberry sorbet Rays look great, and the candy with roasted maple board is such a beauty.
