I've been jonesing hard for a new Axis lately and neither a natural finish nor a rosewood fretboard were high on my list of requirements, but a cool top was. When I saw this being offered on another forum tonight and got that love at first sight feeling, so now it's on the way. :D Curses Music Man for making such fine and irresistable instruments!

Well, it's not quite pink, but, WOW, a stunner of a top! Nice find

Congrats that is a 10 in my book. Just something about a Natty Quilt and rose wood board that is so flashy in a low key way. I wish my Natty Axis had a quilt top instead of a flame.

Any ideas if it darkened like that over time, or is just the way it was when made? It's a 2010 so isn't very old. Will it continue to darken?
