I've been an Ernie Ball Forum fan for at least 4 years and have finally decided it was time to make my introduction. No real fanfare - just a big thanks and hello. Prior to this I posted a few times on things I just had to speak out on.
My first EBMM Stingray was the 89 Blue Burst I picked up in an Oak Cliff second hand shop that I just can't remember the name of right now - Bovinehost you may remember it. I sold a 1972 Fender JB to get it - part of me still regrets not figuring out another way to get the money - oh well. It was beat up without a pick-guard, back badly scratched down to the wood, no battery, and the neck knocked slightly out of pocket. The neck was adjusted on-site and away we went. I used that Ray at Club Dada that very night... wow that was a long time ago!! I played it for about 5 years before getting married, buying a house and having 3 kids. Needless to say the Ray saw very little action and it was stored in a closet. Although I would play from time to time it wasn't until about four years ago that I decided I had make this part of my life again. It seemed that after all this time it played even better.
This will be my first attempt at uploading pics so if it takes me more than one try, I apologize. I was hoping to snap some shots outside but after nearly 2 months without rain we finally got some last night and it's still overcast this morning. So here are some pics taken from inside. They came out ok but not of the quality in some of the pics I've seen on this forum.
Enjoy!
