Here's our latest full band Split-Screen Cover, of the freshly released "On the Backs of Angels" from Dream Theater's upcoming album "On the Backs of Angels".

I wanna know how you were able to learn it so flawlessly, record all the parts, edit the video and get it on line within like a week of DT releasing it. Impressive to say the least.

All of us are very familiar with playing Dream Theater's music, from learning many of their previous songs, so that helps.
I specifically chose people who I knew were dependable, and everyone did their homework and got me their parts at record breaking times. Then I just had to work extra hard to mix the audio and edit the video. I usually take quite a while to mix a song, but I set a goal for myself to do it in a single day (minus a few tweaks later on, with fresh ears).

What actually took a while was the rendering and upload. I had to re-render 4 times because of syncing issues (not appearant on previews on my less than ideal rig). Uploading took me 3 days because Youtube's uploader would fail randomly. Quite irritating, considering it's a 2-3GB file! At one point it failed at 99% through...
