Well Jamie has dusted off his sporran and had his inoculations and he's going to Scotland to do some shows!

Merchant City Music in Glasgow on Friday October 28th
Red Dog Music in Edinburgh on Saturday October 29th
Both in-store...... both all day events

Before that he is at the South West Guitar Show in Frome, Somerset on Sunday October 23rd

The day before that, Saurday October 22nd, at Electro Music in Doncaster
Agian in-store... all day

Then down to Coda Music in Stevenage on Saturday November 5th
Guy Fawkes night!.... again all day... venue to be confirmed as the shop is a bit cosy.

Finally (so far!) Intersound of Dursley are putting on an evening show at The Gables Hotel on Thusday November 17th.

You must be able to get to at least one of these!

You guys in the UK are lucky to get an opportunity to go checkout Jamie. Not only a beast of a player, but an amazing teacher, and one of the nicest guys on the planet. Right now the sky is the limit for Jamie and I could not be happier!

Cool Ming, I'm in Edinburgh the week before... :-( - however it's only 4 hours drive each way so might try and pop down for a bit on the 29th I didn't know red dog were ball dealers? - new signing? I used to work for Sound Control back in the day, long before the buy out.... and I tried my first ball in a Sound Control store (Red hard tail EVH) - oh the memories...

Spud stands on chair & whispers in Mings ear any visits to Wales?

He did one at Lord Knightons a few months back silly.

I see you guys have avoided playing us in the rugby world cup semi finals on saturday.
Probably just as well that France thrashed us the way you guys were playing.

Yes, Red Dog signed up about a month or so ago.

Hey Ming - Knighton is in England ( I was going to say !!) but I believe that it is infact classified as being in Wales. The reason I was going to say that was that back in the 60's Cardiff City played Knighton Town in the old Welsh Cup and beat them 16 - 0 !! I'm sure my Dad said that they were an English Team allowed to play in the Welsh Cup. Hell the way border demarcations change who knows.
Anyway I bow to your superior geographical knowledge and would agree that he has done a Welsh gig. My mitigating circumstances are that I was in Dartmoor on holiday.

(Sounding like the attorney in the MJ case) allow me to rephrase my question lol
Is he gonna come to South Wales?- this side of the Severn Bridge would be ok with me.

Now ... Rugby - the trouble is I'm not really an "egg ball" man but we are very proud of the way Wales has played. Even my English wife agrees to that and she also said that on current form Wales would prolly beat England. I dunno about that, and I look forward to the Home Internationals in 2012 - but France have always had a formidable team and it depends on their psyche on the day.

If it was the other way round I would be cheering England on as I did when they won the Rugby World cup. - So any positive vibes from across the border would be appreciated. Ha, did you hear the Irish call us "Frien-emies" =- I liked that!

Oh yeah whilst typing - I spoke to Blind Lemon the other week when he was in Wales and tried to get him along to my gig. Mr & Mrs OlPlayer were going to drive him He said he had a really bad back 2 days before and on the day of the gig he said that he hadn't recovered - damn excuses. But he will be back (no pun intended) in the next couple of weeks.

Anyways hope Mr Humphries does alright. I wonder what a JH/Devil combo would be like at a clinic - makes me shiver at the thought !!!

Just spoken to Jamie, he's loaded his Reliant Robin up to the gunnels and is braving the Dartford Tunnel on his way up to the frozen north.... look out Glasgow & Edinburgh!

Ming - Just throwing this out there (and it's kinda linked to the topic!)

The Globe in Cardiff, would be just perfect. I saw Albert Lee and The Devil there - it is a great intimate venue. Great Curry Houses next door and I live 10 minutes walk away so I could "roadie" for ya!
